Dear Yutaka-san,
thank you so much for responding my urgent request! I really needed to have it on Friday October 31, because I wanted to give it to my critical person's family on that night at dinner. I received it in the morning on that day, so I was able to make it! The Imari Tsubaki Bowl was just awesome. The person who received it from me was quite excited and impressed with it.
Thank you so much again for quick service and wonderful, beautiful, nice wrapping. Such a nice wood box was also appreciated by the person.
Wish your business will keep growing great.

Bizen Kyusu (teapot) by Shusen Shibaoka

I just received the Bizen kyusu and I am very pleased with it. Although the dynamic looks of Bizen may not appeal to all, the functionality of this kyusu is first-rate. The filter is absolutely superb, possibly the best clay filter I have used. So far no clogging and very little tea remains in the pot after pouring. The wide lid and the pot's shape make it very easy to get the tea leaves in and out and allows them to open fully in a short amount of time. Because Bizenware tends to be heavy and thick, I didn't think this kyusu would work well with first-harvest sencha but so far it has done an admirable job with any sencha I have tried.
Thanks for another great product!

Hokujo teacups

Yesterday I received the pair of unglazed yohen brush stroke cups by Hokujo and I have been using them almost constantly since then.
They were received the same way as all of my previous orders; very fast deliver, very well packaged, and in perfect condition.
These cups are very enjoyable to use and are very well made, as are all products I have used from the Hokujo kiln. They have a rustic look and feel, but are still neat in appearance. In my opinion, Hokujo is a master at achieving this balance, which so many other artisans miss.
This was another awesome purchase from your store, and I am very happy with this order.
Thanks for the extras, which were very good.

I have an older set of china that bares the "Kutani logo on each piece. It is service for 4. Plate, saucer, bowl and some serving pieces. It has a japanese watermill etched in gold. The setting appears to be the same, but each peice is slightly different. Do you have older catalogues I could see to identify the vintage this is from?
